An Introduction to Burlesque

Ebony and Duke Divine will be providing you with a brief insight into the history of burlesque and some of its pioneers over the decades, an introduction to robe removal, glove peels and boa work, ending in a short routine and a demo.

Pose, Pause & Please with Ebony Silk

1hr 15mins - Start Time 7:45pm (registration 15mins prior to start time)

Price £25

Pose - How to make the most of your shape, posing to get those live stage shots, looking after your body (sometimes we forget)

Pause - Slow it down, remember a striptease is just that... a tease. Nerves make us speed things up, let’s take our time, enjoy the stage and the audience

Please - Your audience is there to watch and engage with you, be it physically or conceptually, your main aim is to please them. Let’s discuss how this is done...

Please note: This is a non-refundable/transferable booking. Refund of the workshop will only be given if the class is cancelled by Ebony Silk or Pole & Plumes directly, otherwise full payment is required. 

Venue: Pole & Plumes, Stanhope House Business Centre, 113-117 Stanhope Road South, Darlington, County Durham, DL3 7SF. For accessibility there are a couple of steps up to the main entrance, if required we can provide assistance. There is also a step down into toilet facilities.
